Internet Securities Inc. (ISI, a subsidiary of Euromoney Institutional Investor) and Artirix are proud to announce the launch of a new platform for the Emerging Markets Information Service (EMIS – www.securities.com). The end result is a rich, highly accurate and personalised new application, helping EMIS subscribers more effectively discover important news and research.
Artirix has recently launched a search service for a large financial publisher that really proved to be a great test the Artirix platform. This customer came to us as they had a legacy commercial search technology installation that had a poor user experience, poor relevancy, and a high cost of ownership. They wanted to scale for more dynamic and personalized content, and needed a backend that would future proof their growth.
After a large investment in Artirix core development, coupled with new features from the Open Source community (in particular ElasticSearch), we’re proud to announce the release of a major new version of our platform.

Artirix has launched a new property search solution for market-leading UK estate agent Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward (KFH)
The platform includes a complete collection of residential for sale and rental properties, as well as commercial listings. Advanced Search & Navigation are among the key features provided by Artirix to upgrade the usability of KFH’s online listing database.

Spun out of some big data loading we were doing on a recent project, we found the StarCluster tool really handy for provisioning temporary clusters in the EC2 cloud.

This plugin provisions Elasticsearch on top of this cluster, great for quick load testing, scalability and proof-of-concepts.
Artirix has launched a bed bank, hotel description service for teletextholidays.co.uk. The service aggregates over 13 feeds, of various formats into the central service. The bed bank data is used by Teletext to display the relevant hotel information to the packages on offer.
